CICT and ASU instill project sustainability through a 3-day workshop
Twenty-three SUC's iSchool trainers coming from different provinces participated in this event at the Sampaguita Gardens, New Washington, Aklan, on January 26-29, 2009. This year's workshop aimed to equip the trainers with the knowledge and skills in creating a sustainable plan for their recipient public high schools.
ASU joins the 797th year of the Ati-Atihan festival
Led by Prof. Edilberto Solidum-Director of the Office of Student Services- the Aklan State University community did not leave Kalibo’s portals empty with unentertained viewers who watched them as they danced closer to Kalibo town plaza while honoring Santo Nino. In powercast, five campuses of ASU (Banga, Ibajay, New Washington, Makato, and Kalibo) gathered as one unit and invaded with their dance moves Kalibo’s main streets last January 15.
TEC hosts Intercampus Meet '08
Teacher Education Center, a small campus with 200 students and 19 faculty and staff and offering the degree leading to Bachelor in Secondary Education major in English, Math, Filipino, and TLE played host to the 2008 Intercampus Meet.
