The BSHT program is committed to produce globally competent home technologist through relevant curricular offerings in home technology enriched by novel research information for sustainable development of the home, community and country.

To produce competent, morally upright and highly committed professionals in Home Technology.
General Objectives
- To offer relevant instruction in Home Technology education.
- To periodically update/enrich the curriculum and upgrade facilities relevant to the need of the community/country.
- To strengthen values and ethics necessary for professionals in the industry.
- To train students in research and extension to enable them to participate in various activities as agent of rural change and development.
Specific Objectives
Food and Nutrition Major
- To provide highly technical instruction in Food and Nutrition.
- To train would-be entrepreneurs in food and nutrition for quality life.

Home Management Major
- To provide highly technical instruction in Home Management.
