Goals

Provide quality and relevant higher agricultural education program.

General Objectives
  1. Provision of technical and relevant instruction in agriculture.
  2. Train students to conduct research and entrepreneurial projects.
  3. Encourage students to participate in various activities as agents of rural change and development.
  4. Inculcate good moral character.
Specific Objectives

     Animal Science Major
  1. To conduct highly technical and relevant instruction in animal science for countryside development.
  2. To train students in the conduct of research and entrepreneurial activities that enhances production, instruction and extension programs.
  3. To implement strategies that will enable students to participate in various activities as agents of rural change and development.
  4. To inculcate good moral values and character which are integral to professional development in agriculture. 
     Agricultural Economics Major
  1. To provide technical instruction in agricultural economics and business.
  2. To expose the students to different business industry.
  3. To periodically enrich the agricultural economics curriculum in the undergraduate level.
  4. To inculcate desirable values and ethics for professionals in the business industry. 
     Agricultural Extension Major
  1. To train students to become effective agents of change in the society by helping in the development of rural communities.
  2. To expose the students to the dynamics of agricultural extension work.
  3. To periodically enrich the extension and community development curriculum.
  4. To inculcate moral values and character which are integral to professional development in agriculture.
     Agricultural Engineering Major
  1. To produce agricultural engineering graduates equipped with highly technical expertise for countryside development
  2. To train students in the conduct of research that will enhance the development of new technology.
  3. To implement strategies that will develop students to become effective agents of change in the rural communities
  4. To develop the moral values of students which are integral to professional development in agriculture.
     Crop Science Major
  1. To provide quality and relevant instruction in crop science.
  2. To equip students the desired knowledge and skills in the conduct of research and entrepreneurial projects.
  3. To periodically enrich the crop science curriculum.
  4. To inculcate moral values and character which are integral to professional development in agriculture.
     Soil Science Major
  1. To provide quality and relevant instruction in soil science.
  2. To equip students the desired knowledge and skills in the conduct of research and entrepreneurial projects.
  3. To periodically enrich the soil science curriculum.
  4. To inculcate moral values and character which are integral to professional development in agriculture.
