This study determined the factors that affect the 35 students’ difficulty in answering discussion type of question in Physics. The descriptive method using a researcher-made questionnaire was used. Results revealed that the student factors greatly determined the respondents’ difficulty in answering discussion type of questions in Physics.
Factors Related to Absenteeism among High School students at Aklan State University, Banga, Aklan

The study was conducted to gather baseline information on the factors related to absenteeism among 144 high school students using the descriptive method, with the researcher –made questionnaire as the data gathering tool. Results revealed that the factors identified to cause absenteeism among the respondents were: a) less preference to schooling; b) financial constraint and absence of parents; and c) teachers playing favoritism and nagging.
