ASU Celebrates the 106th Year Civil Service Anniversary View Gallery
Banga, Aklan - The Aklan State University celebrated the 106th year anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service last September 18, 2006 at Green Meadows Beach Resort, Jawili, Tangalan, Aklan.
 School officials, faculty and staff joined the parlor games in celebration of the CS anniversary.
The theme for this year’s celebration is; “Katapatan ng Lingkod Bayan…
Pahalagahan.” The program started with flag raising ceremony in front
of the ASU Administrative building followed with Panunumpa sa Watawat
and oath taking of public servants.
True to this year’s theme, the ASU showed importance for the faithful
service of its employees by letting them enjoy the day in the beach,
instead of the usual program held inside the university campus.
University officials, faculty and staff alike shed the formality aside
and joined in the merrymaking.
The ground of Green Meadows Beach Resort was filled with gaiety and
camaraderie. By the time they have to leave for home, the excitement
has barely toned down. But definitely, everybody felt relaxed and
renewed ready to face the coming days.
