Banga, Aklan – The Aklan State University will host the 4th Saka Iskwela: “Responsible Campus Journalism Towards Agricultural Productivity” on January 15 to 17, 2006 at the ASU Conference Hall, Banga, Aklan.

The said training will be conducted by the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCARRD) to address the technology dissemination concerns through campus journalism. 

The participants will be trained in the field of science and technology news and feature writing and desktop publishing.  A well-known agricultural journalist is expected to act as resource person for the said training.

Western Visayas Agriculture Resources Research and Development Consortium – Regional Applied Communications Office (WESVARRDEC – RACO) and the Aklan State University (ASU) coordinate this activity.
