LIBRARY VISION, MISSION, GOALS AND OBJECTIVES
Vision
The Aklan State University Library envisions to be an avenue
for boarder less scientific, technical and socio-cultural
information.
Mission
To provide relevant, effective and accessible collection of
information resources for maximum support to the universities
major functions, instruction, research, extension and
production.
Goal
To serve the greatest number of customers through maximization
of access to information and use of collections.
Objectives

To adopt an automated circular
system

To educate students in
identifying, locating, selecting and using library resources

To assist the customers in their
research work

To give support to the
university and community in their educational social, civic
and cultural activities

To link with other
libraries/agencies for enrichment and exchange of library
resources

To provide updated materials and
supportive equipment to meet the instructional and research
needs of the students and faculty

To serve a storehouse of data
for educational advancement

To collect, sort, preserve and
classify news, information and current issues for the use of
faculty, students, researchers and other professionals

To compile data and upgrade the Filipiñiana collection
particularly on local history and culture
