SAS Gets New OIC; Undergoes Revamp |

Dr. Benny A Palma, ASU President designated Dr. Mary Eden M. Teruel as the new School of Arts and Sciences' Officer-in-Charge effective April 4, 2005 replacing Dr. Celedonia R. Hilario, who asked to be relieved after March 2005. Supposedly, Mr. Ersyl T. Biray, acting Dean-designate fo the SAS was to assume the post after finishing his master's degree in Language Teaching from West Visayas State University last March.
However, he was offered to pursue a doctorate degree in English Language immedieately this year to strengthen the faculty of the school, thus the need to have another officer-in-charge.
Subsequently, Prof. Lorna R. Manares also requested for relief giving way to Prof. Donna R. Lariosa as the new SAS Associate Dean, aside from being the school secretary.
Prof. Sofia I. Icay likewise finished her term as Head of the Laboratory High School where Prof. Amelia C. Enriquez took over. On her assumption as LHS head, she left the Division of Communication Languages, Humanities and the Arts of the new Division Chair, Prof. Marcelina L. Oquendo.
Prof. Independencia Urquiola is the new Division Chair of the Biological and Natural Sciences replacing Prof. Estrella Agustin.
Mrs. Vistoria A. Gepty is the new Young Educators Society (YES) adviser vice Engr. Roland Toreno who will be pursuing a masters degree in information technology together with Mr. Rolly Democrito and Mrs. Teresita Naculangga.
Other appointess include Dr. Celendonia R. Hilario as the new Research Coordinator replacing Prof. Benedicta D. Repayo, Mrs. Clarita R. Tambong as the new Production Coordinator vice Prof. Paciencia Flores and Mrs. Elanie R. Reteo as SAS Sports Coordinator
