The office monitors and administers all the research activities in the University. It also provides financial and equipment aids to qualified studies rendered by the researchers. Standing as one of the core foundations of the University, the RDS is committed in heightening technologies by raising research standards in accordance with the ASUs' Visions, Missions, Goals and Objectives. Targets:Conduct trainings, seminars and workshops on research; and create research teams for the various priority areas. Vision: A center of technology generation to sustain countryside development.
Mission: Develop and verify technologies on agri-fishery, arts and sciences, engineering and allied fields.
Goals:To develop research capabilities of the faculty, students and stakeholders in the field of agriculture, fishery, arts and sciences, engineering and technology education and other allied fields; acquire state of the art research laboratory facilities and equipment; make funds available for the conduct of the researches; and establish linkages with different Government and Non-government Organizations - local, national and international.
