The Best Poster winner

The ASU-RDS Unit joined the recent National Fruit Symposium held at Pamapanga Agricultural College on October 19 - 21, 2005. The Unit submitted 4 entries for the Research Poster Competition entitled: In Vitro Propagation of Sago Palm by Prof. Michael T. Ibisate; Growth Response of Tissue-Cultured Spanish Red Pineapple Taken from Different Planting Materials Grown in Various Potting Media by Dr. Malco M. Teodosio and Prof. Lelisa J. Teodosio; Micropropagation of Spanish Red Pineapple from Different Planting Materials with Medium Supplemented with Benyzlaminopurine by Dr. Malco M. Teodosio and Prof. Michael Ibisate; and Effect of Gibberellic Acid on the Seedlessnes of Rambutan by Dr. Marilyn E. Romaquin. Among the 27 research posters, all the 4 entries of ASU-RDS got in as 4 of the 10 finalists and the RDS Entry entitled "Effect of Gibberellic Acid on the Seedlessness of Rambutan bagged the Best Poster Award.
