CAFES, SAS gears up for Level 3 Accreditation |

The College of Agriculture, Forestry and Environmental Sciences (CAFES) and the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) are now gearing up its preparation for the 1st Re-Survey Visit of the Accreditation Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities, Inc. (AACCUP) tentatively scheduled in March 2006. Said accreditation will look into the compliance set by the previous accreditors for, and quality of the Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (BSA), Bachelor of Science in Home technology (BSHT), and the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) programs. The ten (10) areas covered for review are the Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives (VMGO), Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction, Support to Students, Library, Research, extension and Community Development, Laboratories, Physical Facilities, and Administration.
The Program of the Actual condition of the three programs to be inspected have already been set to AACCUP last December 27, 2005 and schedule for actual visit is expected within three months. With this date in view, the different accreditation task forces of the three programs have been activated and are now wrapping up preparations.
The Level 2 Accreditation status of these three programs ended last December 2005
