The Aklan State University (ASU) will host the Association of Colleges of Agriculture in the Philippines, Inc. (ACAP) Biennial Convention on November 11-13, 2009, with the theme “State Universities & Colleges – Association of Colleges of Agriculture in the Philippines: Response to Economic Stability through Research, Extension & Production.”

Agricultural experts and policy makers from all over the country will gather in this important convention. It aims to intensify ACAP’s functional research, extension and production activities in promoting sustainable agricultural development in the country, and to strengthen its participation in the effort of the national government to attain economic stability.
