The Aklan State University-Extension and Community Services (ASU-ECS) in coordination with the Training Services Unit conducted a Training on Documentation and Packaging of Extension Outputs for Publication on April 21-22, 2010 at the ASU Conference Hall, Banga, Aklan. According to Dr. Anna Mae C. Relingo, ECS Director, there is a need to enhance the skills of the University extension workers so they could effectively contribute in writing experiences and good extension strategies and modalities in implementing various extension programs/projects and share with our colleagues in the academe and other stakeholders. Dr. Benny A. Palma, Officer-In-Charge of the Office of the President, commended the ECS Unit for initiating the activity which is one of the steps in making the milestones in extension of the University be properly documented. The two-day activities gathered some 40 extension project implementers from nine academic units of the University including the ECS and RDS units. The University tapped the expertise of Dr. Fe L. Porciuncula, Dr. Teodora T. Battad and Dr. Ma. Excelsis M. Orden from Central Luzon State University, Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija who shared valuable inputs and experiences in Process Documentation and Methodologies for Financial Analysis of Extension Projects. ![]() |
